Get Creative: Golden Carrot & Apple Oatmeal Bowl

THE MEAL

Raised Real’s Carrot + Apple + Hemp Seed + Turmeric + Sacha Inchi Oil.

 

THE HACK

Ingredients:

1 carrot + apple meal

¼ cup old-fashioned oats

⅔ cup milk

¼ tsp cinnamon

⅛ tsp turmeric

⅛ tsp ginger

2 tsp maple syrup

1 tbsp raisins

1 banana

2 tsp almonds

 

Directions:

  1. Add the carrot + apple meal, oats, milk, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, maple syrup and raisins to a saucepan.
  2. Turn the stove on to medium heat, and cook until the mixture is thick and all the ingredients are cooked through.
  3. Slice the banana and finely chop the almonds.
  4. Pour the golden oatmeal mixture into serving bowls, and top with banana slices, chopped almonds and a dash of cinnamon.

 

Makes 2 kids servings or 1 adult portion.
