1 carrot + apple meal
¼ cup old-fashioned oats
⅔ cup milk
¼ tsp cinnamon
⅛ tsp turmeric
⅛ tsp ginger
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp raisins
2 tsp almonds
- Add the carrot + apple meal, oats, milk, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, maple syrup and raisins to a saucepan.
- Turn the stove on to medium heat, and cook until the mixture is thick and all the ingredients are cooked through.
- Slice the banana and finely chop the almonds.
- Pour the golden oatmeal mixture into serving bowls, and top with banana slices, chopped almonds and a dash of cinnamon.
Makes 2 kids servings or 1 adult portion.
